The Little Hawk Newspaper was selected as a pacemaker finalist by the National Scholastic Press Association.

“It is great and just really, really exciting because all of our work from last year paid off,” Emma Baxter, features editor said.

The Little Hawk is one of nine finalists selected from the entire country in the 17 or more pages, Broadsheet category. The winners for the award will be announced on November 17th in San Antonio.

“It makes all of the late nights and battles in the news lab worth it,” Nora Holman, designer said.
