Preview: City vs West Soccer Showdown

On Tuesday, May 13th the boys and girls soccer teams will  show down against West at the University of Iowa Soccer Complex.

“We really want to do our best against West,” Sam Blowers ‘15 said. “It will be a really good game.”

The boys game starts of first at 5:00 p.m. followed by the girls at 7:00 p.m..

The boys team is coming off a 4-0 win last week against Dubuque Senior.

“The team has really come together and if we stick by it we can really do some damage to West High,” Alejandro Pacheco ‘14 said.

The girls team plans to use their youth on the field.

“They have a lot of really good freshmen that will help them, but if we pull each other together as a team we can do well,” Blowers said.

The boys team enters with a 9-1 record and the girls are 5-6.
