Halo 5: Guardians Expectations
June 3, 2014
Seeing as how Nina has never played Halo (crazy, I know, just stay with me) I have set up a list of what we want for Halo 5: Guardians.
Multiple story lines:
Remember in Halo 2, when you would switch to the Arbiter? That addition of a secondary storyline, it was awesome. In the end, the best part is seeing Master Chief observed on the outside of it all. On the cover, there is another person, in (possibly) forerunner armor. Could he/she be on the team of Master Chief, or against?
Vehicles:
Scarabs. What was that? Scarabs. Remember the whole Scarab attacks? Those were the shtuff! Jumping into the back after the destruction of the joints. My brother and I doing our sweep and clear. And in Halo 3, at the end, when you’re in the Warthog, driving full speed as the ground explodes around you! I want more of that in Halo 5!
Enemies:
The Flood, Covenant and Prometheans are all fun and dandy, but we gamers want a new threat! Not that we’re greedy (we are) we just want NEW material, again. This is the time to add new baddies. New creatures to see, new creatures to fight, maybe some insurrectionists too.
Maps:
Halo 4 kinda wrecked the Forge system. We want the Forge to be updated, with the budget intact, and the buildings like they are in Halo 4. Imagine taking Halo Reach’s forge and smashing it into Halo 4’s forge mode, awesome huh?
Weapons:
I, as a precision and marksman gamer, want the DMR, Battle Rifle, and Sniper Rifle to stay. But the promethean weapons are pretty awesome too. Basically, just keep the DMR, that was an amazing addition in reach, and I want to see it continued. But new weapons are always a good addition. Since it takes place after Halo 4, it should involve new weapons, newly developed. Also, new updates to the look of weapons.
