The Iowa City Winter Farmers Market will be discontinued from here on out. There were two holiday markets in November and December every year. Too few vendors have applied to have a stall for the annual Winter Famers Market and along with Lucky’s Market to be opened in 2015 has lead to the decision to discontinue the farmers’ market. After this decision had been made, several farmers have been looking for a new location in order to keep up their profits for the winter season.
