This is the third year the tree huggers have been knitting “sweaters” for the chilly trees downtown. Knitters could work in groups or individually to make these colorful creations. On November 2nd the knitters will be hanging their hard work up from noon-2pm. Their work will be up until March to keep the trees warm through out the winter season.

Over a 120 knitters participated in this famous and unique downtown Iowa City project.
