Cole fans everywhere rejoiced Sunday evening when a video appeared on Dreamville’s YouTube account announcing, out-of-the-blue, that J. Cole has completed working on his junior album and that it will release early next month.

In the 7-minute mini-documentary style trailer, Cole returns to his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and the house he lived in as a teenager. Never one to stray away being real, Cole reveals throughout the clip that he’s fed up with Hollywood and the lifestyle that has come along with his success in the industry, saying his happiness shouldn’t be dependent on the commercial success of his work.

Will these feelings be the fuel to Cole’s first classic album? Only time will tell.
