City High Alum sworn into U.S. Department of Treasury

A City High Alum, Ramin Toloui has been sworn in as the U.S. Treasury Department’s Assistant Secretary for International Finance, as reported by CBS2 Iowa. He graduated from City High in 1992 and then attended Harvard where he was a Rhodes Scholar. President Obama nominated Toloui and he was confirmed by the senate last month. He now is responsible for leading the treasury’s work on international monetary policy and coordinating with the international groups like the G20.
