the boys' and girls' teams split against West High, with the boys falling to the Trojans 2-7 and the girls winning 8-1.

On a cool breezy Tuesday afternoon the girls’ tennis team soundly defeated West High 8-1 at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center. The girls won all their singles matches except for a hard fought loss from Susanna Gianola ‘16 at the No.3 singles spot (4-10).
The girls then proceeded to sweep in doubles with dominant wins from all three doubles spots. With the win over West the girls are now undefeated (9-0) and are ranked No.1 in the Mississippi Division of the MVC.

The girls play at home tomorrow against Dubuque Senior at 4 o’clock. They also have a doubleheader this Saturday, facing both Kennedy and Washington.
