Girls Tennis Hangs On To No.1

Weather conditions didn't save Dubuque Hempstead; the Little Hawks walked out of the North Dodge Athletic Club still undefeated.

May 7, 2015

In the artificial light of the NDAC indoor courts, the girls’ tennis team continued to flex its muscle with a quick defeat of Dubuque Hempstead (8-1). The match was originally scheduled to play at the City High tennis courts, but due to rain was moved to the four courts at NDAC with the top four players playing first. The only loss came in a tight 4-8 match at the No. 3 doubles position. With the win the team now is 14-0 in the regular season and has held on to the coveted No. 1 spot in the state.
