End Of FIFA?

Nine FIFA officials were arrested less than five hours ago in a shocking raid conducted by the FBI and the Swiss Police Force.

The nine men convicted, range from the vice president of FIFA to the president of the Brazilian soccer federation,  are all facing charges of racketeering, conspiracy, and corruption in FIFA for the last two decades, involving bids for World Cups, marketing and broadcasting deals.

Some wonder why FIFA’s president Sepp Blatter wasn’t involved in any of these accusations seeing as how he oversaw FIFA for the last 4 terms. An election, planned for this Friday, will determine the next FIFA president. A FIFA Spokesman insisted that Blatter was not apart of any of the allegations that have happened this morning and the election will go as planned on Friday.

This coming election will surely be the most closely watched presidential election in FIFA history.
