Spirit Week Themes 2015
Homecoming season of 2015 kicks off with Spirit Week.
Creating and behind this year’s Spirit Week themes is City High’s own Spirit Club.
“It’s been so fun,” Coach Ritter, head of Spirit Club said. “I’m excited for people to hear the themes.”
Themes this year kicks off with PJ day. Next comes Neon, Tacky Tourist, Old Folks, and closes with Little Hawk Pride to the Max.
“I’m really excited for all the complaints I’m going to get from the AARP for Old Folks day,” Principal John Bacon said.
Bacon isn’t the only one excited for this year’s Spirit Week.
“I like the tacky tourist, and the old folks one will be funny,” Julieta Rangel ‘16 said. “I think they’re really original.”
Some of the themes are new, but some are reused year to year.
“Extreme Red and White is a classic. Spirit Week is just really fun,” Rangel elaborated, “It’s a great way to show school spirit.”
