Cop or Drop: Adidas Tubular

September 30, 2015

IMG_5361Since its release in 1993, the Adidas Tubular model has been exceptionally popular in the sneaker community. With its 2015 re-release in the form of the tubular primeknit runner and primeknit x, the brand with the three stripes looks to update its classic silhouette with new technology. Notable features such as the primeknit lining and the sock-like design are reminiscent of the wildly popular yeezy boost 350 sneaker released this past June. In addition to the runner, there is also the high top primeknit x model. One downside of the newly revamped sneakers is its lack of arch support. However,
the Adidas primeknit material is a great addition

to its breathability, making it light and cool, but could prove problematic during Iowa winters.

Cop or Drop?: The newly reborn Adidas Tubulars are a great pair of shoes for casual and activewear. While it won’t fare well in the winter and lacks in arch support, the shoes more than makeup for it in their design and breathability. The Adidas Tubulars
are a definite cop. 4/5

The tubulars are available for $150.
