Kinnick to Tighten Security
November 19, 2015
On Thursday morning, university officials announced that Saturday’s game will feature new security checks in wake of the international attacks that have occurred throughout the past few weeks.
Previously, any size of purses, handbags and backpacks were allowed into the stadium. On Saturday, bags over 4.5″ x 6.5″ will not be permitted.
“We ask everyone for their assistance in making our last game of the season as safe as possible for all of our friends and visitors,” says Dave Visin, Iowa’s director of public safety, “If you see something, say something.”
The Iowa Hawkeyes (10-0) will take on the Purdue Boilermakers (2-8) in hopes of securing the Big 10 West Champion title.
