City High will hold its third annual mini dance marathon on Thursday, February 4th from 6-9 pm in the City High cafeteria. Tickets will be $3 in advance and $5 at the event.

Fundraising will be held from now until the dance. Since the dance is a beach-themed, paper beach balls will be sold, with a different color for each class, and the group that sells the most will be eligible for a raffle. In addition, donations from the public will be collected at home basketball games, as well as a half-court shot challenge at four of the games.

This event is similar to the University of Iowa’s dance marathon and aims to raise money for the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
