Show Choirs Kick Off Competition Season
Competition season for show choir started this Saturday with City Lights and 4th Avenue Jazz Company’s debut at Prairie Premiere in Cedar Rapids.
Both choirs began performing in November at the annual Works in Progress show hosted at West High School. Works in Progress gave the four show choirs, City Lights, Showtime, Good Time Company, and 4th Avenue, a chance to informally perform parts of their shows. They also performed at the Winter Show in December, and at the Dollars for Scholars event on January 6th.
The show choirs will continue to compete and perform throughout the months of January and February and the season will culminate with their annual Spring Show at the beginning of March.
