The 13-9 Little Hawks take on the 18-4 Trojans for the third time this season, after losing their first match 31-45 at West High, and winning the rematch game 63-53 at home.
Top scorers for each team are Micah Martin, with 251 points for City High and Connor McCaffery with 339 points for West. Martin’s fouling out during the first match-up was a major gain for West. Wali Parks is at 60.2% for FGs with 285 points, Martin is at 64% with 251 points.
Jason Jones, City’s second highest defensive rebounder has 20 rebounds more than Connor McCaffery, 72 to 52.
The tie-breaker between these cross-town rivals takes place on a neutral court, the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, tonight at 8:00. The fan bus will depart from City High at 6:45 this evening.
