During first lunch today, a gag-inducing smell penetrated the second floor hallway. The oder, according to Chip Hardesty was caused by a student who left rotten milk in their locker. There were no reported incidents of vomiting.
“I used to work for a utility company, and we once got a refrigerator that had rotten milk crusted in the insulation. I took the whole thing apart and soaked it in hard chemicals for two days but the smell was still there. It’s a horrible, horrible smell,” Hardesty said.
The smell started to dissipate around one o’clock, but there was some stank still remaining for the rest of the day.
