Phil Hemmingway addresses community members in a meeting on April 11

Phil Hemingway sat to the side of the classroom yesterday afternoon, listening to ICCSD staff and community members’ concerns about potentially redistricting secondary school boundaries. The meeting, hosted by social studies teacher Nathan Hellwig brought many different opinions into the discussion. The main point brought up was the percentage of students on Free and Reduced Lunch pricing (FRL) at each school in the district.

“We’re a small town with big city problems,” Mrs. Colleen Davis said at the meeting.
