City Girls’ Tennis Team Beats Dubuque Senior and Clinton to Advance to State
For the fourth consecutive year, the girls’ varsity tennis team will compete for the team state title.
City High will play Pleasant Valley on Monday, May 23, during the first round of state. Last year, the Little Hawks were beat 4-5 by Pleasant Valley during the first round.
This past Saturday, May 21, the team beat Dubuque Senior (5-0) and Clinton (5-0) to qualify for state. City High was named the Regional Champion.
The Little Hawks finished their regular season 11-2.
