Tom Clancy’s RainbowSix Siege is commonly thought of as Ubisoft’s best current-gen (Xbox One/Playstation 4) game.
In the game, you are one of several Counter Terrorism Units (CTUs) at your disposal. The base game CTUs available for play include France’s GIGN, FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, the elite British SAS, Germany’s infamous GSG-9, and the Russian ghost ops: Spetsnaz. After you select one the operators, you are able to pick one of two primary weapons and sometimes even one of two secondary weapons. The weapons are specific to what those CTUs use in the real world.
Each operator has different abilities given to them by high tech equipment. My favorite is Blitz, a GSG9 operator with an HK USP pistol and a shield with the ability to activate a flashbang type effect of his shield which blinds the enemies if they are looking at you.
On the other hand, the community is absolutely horrific. It’s all about winning to them and if you are a low level, they usually will back out and not play with you. So for those of you that are going to pick up this game at your local game shop, I suggest doing all the instances in which they offer the credits for gets one, two, or even three stars on challenges. I hope this doesn’t deter you from getting this game, it’s honestly a fantastic game. You could compare the TC R6 Siege community to the CounterStrike: GO community, except a with lot less trolling, bullying, and children.
This game is based a lot on “camping” which is where you sit in one spot and watch a corridor or a doorway or other such things. The tutorial actually encourages you to practice ever so slightly peeking around corners or over shields. To the right , gameplay footage is shown of my using such tactics. As you can see, it proves highly effective, or at least in this situation. Well now that I think of it, there have been several situations where it proved useful for me. There was this time I was a playing as Glaz, the Spetsnaz sniper operator and I sat there waiting for the opportune moment, In the end I only got one kill, but it was a perfect moment, and that was thanks to the camping tactic.
Over all, I thoroughly enjoyed this game, still do enjoy it to this day, and high recommend it. It is definitely a game to be recognized. If this were a movie, I think this “movie” could get a nomination, maybe not win the Emmy, but certainly get nominated.

I like to think I'm a pretty adventurous person but you may not agree.
