Z’Marik to Donate 50% of Sales to Dance Marathon

Downtown restaurants will donate a portion of checks for City High’s Dance Marathon.

Last week, it was Formosa and now this week another local restaurant in the heart of Iowa City’s downtown decided to give an incentive to eat out with friends and family for cause in the month of December.  On December 11th El Patron will take their turn helping Dance Marathon.

On Tuesday, December 6th Z’Mariks, has teamed up with Dance Marathon to donate 50% portion of sales in support of children with pediatric cancer and their families at the UIHC.

“I think it’s great that our local restaurants are helping out other parts of the community,” Corbin Nguyen ’17 said. “It brings people together and we can all enjoy the moment.”

Z’Mariks features ‘bowlz’ galore, made the way that you like them to be. They are also committed to using fresh ingredients and making handcrafted sauces.

“I love eating at Z’Mariks,” Anna Roemerman ’17 said. “Some of my favorites are the spicy z’udon or their z’buffalo chicken mac n’ cheese.”

The fundraiser will  take place on December from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm. Proceeds will be donated when dining in is mentioned for Iowa City High School’s Dance Marathon.
