Jacob Fields ’18

In fifth grade we tried out all of the instruments. Trumpet was the only one I didn’t play and I chose that one. I should have chosen trombone. My trumpet teacher told me that if I played trombone I’d be a lot better than what I am now. I wanted to be a part of something because all I really had as a fifth grader was cub scouts. So I joined band and ever since then i’ve wanted to get better.
