
With wind chills hitting as low as 20 degrees City High students were welcomed to winter during a 9:30 a.m. fire drill.
“Yeah, you know I love snow because I love wearing sweatshirts. I couldn’t care less [about the snow]. I love the fall but I love the winter cold more,” Tim Wildes ’21 said. “It was definitely a surprise, though. I was expecting it to be December before this sort of weather would hit.”
Next week, according to the National Weather Service, it is predicated that next week will bring a steady increase in the weather starting at a brisk 44 on Monday and reaching an estimated balmy temperature of 59 by Friday. All school sports are scheduled as normal for today.
