Slater Hall

Yet another University of Iowa residence hall, Slater Hall houses 499 coed students, is air conditioned, and located in a convenient distance to the field house. But rumor has it there is a 500th student living in Slater Hall. It is said to be haunted by a student who jumped out of a window off of the ninth floor and killed himself. He has been spotted walking the halls with an ax, although some say the ax detail was added for embellishment. His screams have also been heard echoing throughout the halls.
