Due to extreme temperatures, the ICCSD has announced that classes throughout the district will be canceled on Friday, January 25. The expected temperature will be 12 degrees Fahrenheit, with a windchill of -8 degrees Fahrenheit.

According to the district’s Inclement Weather Policy, school will be canceled on the basis of  “information from the National Weather Service for Iowa City and the Iowa City Municipal Airport.”

Students taking classes at the Kirkwood Regional Center also have had their classes canceled as per the Kirkwood weather policy.
