Due to the weather, Best Buddies’ much-anticipated brush and barrel night was cancelled.

Laura Schwab, the club’s faculty advisor, made the call to cancel the event to protect the members’ safety.

“We were really looking forward to this event, so we will meet as a leadership team and decide how to proceed,” Schwab said.

Beatrice Kearns ‘19, Best Buddies president, is disappointed with the cancellation, but is looking forward to the future February events.

“We’ve had two cancellations because of weather but we’re still doing our best to put on great events,” Kearns said.

The Best Buddies basketball game with the varsity men’s basketball team is on February 15 at 7, and they are holding a karaoke night on February 20 from 6-8 in the City High cafeteria.
