The Little Hawks beat the Dubuque Rams on Tuesday night. Varsity won 112-73 while junior varsity won by 1 point, 76-75.

“I’m so glad we brought our all tonight,” Trinity Sadecky ‘20 said. “We’ve been working really hard, so it’s cool to see it pay off.”

The girls were excited about breaking a school relay record. The 400 relay team of Sadecky, Rika Yahashiri ‘21, Olivia Masterson ‘20, and Carly Weigel ‘20 beat the record by 0.06 seconds with a time of 3:41.54.

“We were going to have to do [the relay] again if we didn’t get it the first time,” Yahashiri said. “We got super hyped up for the relay.”

This is the second-to-last home duel meet, and the last meet before the girls’ senior night.

“[Senior night] is coming up, so we’ll definitely be pumped up then too,” Yahashiri said.
