City High won their meet against Waterloo on Tuesday. Both varsity and junior varsity won. It was also the girls’ senior night and the last duel meet of the season.

“We had a bunch of senior relays where we stacked the relays with senior swimmers,” Trinity Sadecky ‘20 said. “These are my favorite relays because they’re super fun and we all just do our best with our off strokes.”

Sadecky, Portia Klefstad ‘20, Carly Weigel ‘20, and Olivia Masterson ‘20 started off the night with a win in the 200 medley relay.

“It’s a fun meet not only for us, but for [the divers] as well,” Sadecky said. “The divers did really well in their relay.”

The divers swam in the 200 free relay and divers Peyton Sands ‘20, Eva Packer ‘21, Chloe Froeschner ‘22, and Greta Stanier ‘23 won their heat.

“I’m super sad. I love all the seniors and they’re going to be leaving,” Rika Yahashiri ‘21 said. “But I’m also happy for them and excited to see where they all end up. It’s an emotional night.”
