Ford Washburn Wins CR Invite and Leads Team to Victory
Washburn smashes the course record running sub 5 minute miles.

Ford Washburn ran a personal best and broke a course record at the Cedar Rapids Invite.
Ford Washburn ’23 wins the Cedar Rapids Invite with the time of 15:27, beating Shane Erb ’22 from Marion. Washburn beat the previous course record by 11 seconds giving himself a personal record as well.
All of the City High varsity boys finished their race with personal records, Truman Thompson ’23 (16:17), Noah Carey ’23 (16:18), Ammon Smith ’23 (16:25), Parker Max ’22 (16:27), Braeden Marker ’23 (17:28), Owyn Noble ’24 (17:40).
