Ms. Basile Makes the Important Connections

I have not always been the biggest fan of English class. However, when I walked into English on the first day of school this year, I knew I was going to love it. This was not because of the curriculum or what we happened to be working on. The reason I started enjoying English class again was because of Ms. Basile.

Ms. Basile cares for her students and really tries to make a connection with each of them. Ms. Basile allows us to discuss our opinions and have important conversations, she makes space for kids to talk about their emotions and also pursue their own interests. She is an amazing teacher and person, and the reason I love seventh period so much 🙂
