This year, the annual club fair will take place on Wednesday, September 4th.
City High has many clubs, from robotics and math club to interact and community inclusion club, for students to participate in.
“The club fair will be held tomorrow all day and into the back-to-school night to give parents a chance to see the clubs as well,” said John Bacon, City High principal.
It will be in the gym foyer, between the cafeteria and the English hallways, giving students a chance to check it out as they go to and from lunch. Additionally, select social studies classes will take time to go to the club fair during the school day.
Different clubs will set up small booths with posters explaining why students should join and sign-up sheets in hopes of getting people to participate.
“For debate, our goal is to get some new novices registered through the club fair, and we’re going to have people at the booth through different parts of the day to help with that,” Said Debate’s coach, Drew Gartner.
