City High Girl’s Basketball swept Western Dubuque 66-42 during last Tuesday’s home game. The varsity scoring leaders for the game included Augie Palmer ’25 with 20 points, Tessa Driscoll ’26 with 13 points, and Eve Vitense ’28 with 10 points.
The Little Hawks are now 3-1 in the start of their season, hoping to add two more wins to their record when they play rival team Liberty this upcoming Friday at their annual mental health game, and Maqu0keta on Saturday, both games in the home arena.
“I thought it was a good game, we had a lot of different people on the team that contributed to the win, and it was a great start to the week as we look to focus on our game on Friday against Liberty.” Driscoll ’26 said.
