Beau Hall and Fisher Fitzpatrick connected through their love of the NFL, and specifically, their love of the Eagles. They have known eachother since 3rd grade, where they both grew up young Eagles fans. Now, as the Eagles approach Super Bowl LIX, the two discuss their team’s potential more than ever.
Hall and Fitzpatrick share two classes together here at City High: English and Pre Calc. The pair talk about everything from statistics to play calls, and their conversations are turning into predictions as the Super Bowl approaches.
“There’s not a single doubt in my mind that the Eagles will be champions.” Fitzpatrick said.
“Oh, for sure.” Hall agrees.
These proud Eagles fans will watch as Philadelphia takes on the Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning champs of the past two Super Bowl’s. A win against the Chiefs would be special for the Eagles fan base and players, due to the fact that the Eagles fell short to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl last year, with a last second field goal. An Eagles win would snub the Chiefs of accomplishing a three-peat for the first time in Super Bowl history.
Fitzpatrick says his score prediction for Super Bowl 59 is 28-24, Eagles. Whereas Hall predicts 31-27 Eagles. We will see if these predictions turn out to have some facility. The pair seems confident in their score predictions based on their deep knowledge of the Eagles offense, defense, and coaching style. The Eagles have had an impressive season, entering the game with an overall record of 14-3, and defeating the Commanders in the playoffs 55-23. Whereas the Chiefs have a record of 15-2, and the team pulled away with a gritty win against the Bills, with a final score of 32-29.
Both teams have outstanding offenses, with many key players. Saquon Barkley leads the Eagles in rushing yards with 442, and Kareem Hunt leads the Chiefs with 108. Nonetheless, the majority of the focus will be on the two star quarterbacks that are competing in Super Bowl LIX: Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts. Both quarterbacks have had outstanding seasons, with Patrick Mahomes having a CMP% of 66.7, and Jalen Hurts having a CMP% of 69.6. Kickoff is at 5:30 pm, on Sunday, February 9th.
Hall and Fitzpatrick say they’ve “been together through all of the ups and downs” of the Eagles, and they hope to witness one of the greatest “ups” on Sunday.
