Seniors of Urinetown
LIV LEMAN is a new member of construction crew this production. Previously, she has played in the pit for Singin’ in the Rain and Big Fish and is also in Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Mock Trial at City High. She would like to thank her friends, parents, and Mrs. Stucky, who donates her time every year to make sure that the musicals actually have music.
BRODY CLARKE (Caldwell B. Cladwell) was last seen in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: the Musical, as Dad, and was also in the fall play the previous year. Brody is also involved in mock trial, and a lot of other music groups at City High. Brody would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him through all of city high endeavors; he would not be here without them!
OLIVIA VANDE BERG (Musician - Pianist) is excited and grateful to be reprising her role as pit pianist for her 4th spring musical. Olivia is also a member of Wind Ensemble, Show Choir Combo, and Mock Trial. Olivia would like to thank her parents for showing her Little Einsteins in her youth, and Ms. Stucky-Swanson for bravely conducting the pit every year so that the show can go on!
ANORA KLAUKE (Paint Crew Lead) has loved being a part of CHS Theatre for the past four years, and is so grateful for the opportunity to help design and lead the visuals of set since sophomore year! She wants to thank all the talented people she met through this activity, and a special thank you to Rich for helping her grow as a designer and leader!
MOLLY SAVAGE (Mrs. Millennium) is super excited to be apart of her third show at City High, others including Begets: Fall of a High School Ronin (Andrea) and Singin' in the Rain (Assistant Director). Molly would like to thank Leo Partridge and Brody Clarke for encouraging her to join theater, and all of her friends for encouraging her to stick with it.
OLIVER PALMER (Musician - Reeds) is returning for his second musical after playing reeded instruments for Singin' in the Rain. He also plays lead alto saxophone in the school's Jazz Ensemble and bass clarinet in the school's Wind Ensemble. He plans on pursuing a post-secondary education at the University of Northern Iowa, where he will be studying jazz saxophone on a music scholarship. He would like to thank Ms. Stucky for helping us get our pit together.
ALEX KOHLER (Officer Lockstock) was last seen in CHS Theatre’s “Singin’ in the Rain” as Gaspard and Police Officer! He is a member of Concert Choir, Männerchor, and SMAC. He would like to say thanks to his mom for being every character so he could run lines!
ISABELLA YOUNG (Costume Head) has loved being a part of the CHS Costume Crew for the past four years, and is both sad and excited about their final show. She has committed to Drexel University with an undecided major. Isabella thanks her parents for their support, and every Costume Adult who has helped with a previous show.
YOMI HEMLEY (LITTLE BECKY TWO SHOES) has loved being in CHS theater for the past four years. They are continuing to study theater next year at NYU Tisch as a drama major. They would like to thank Darby for her constant encouragement and help as they continue with acting past high school. They would also like to thank their family, friends, and Sadie for always being supportive!
ELEANOR DECKER (Cladwell's Secretary) has been part of CHS Drama and Speech for the past 4 years. She would like to thank Grandma Sue for introducing her to musical theater, and Mom for helping her learn dance routines! She plans to pursue theater this fall at Knox College.
SADIE BODZIN (Assistant Stage Manager) has enjoyed every moment of being an ASM and shift crew member over the last three years. Aside from theatre, she’s involved in mock trial, journalism, speech, and student senate. She would like to thank her family, friends (LOVE), and her fellow stage managers for being awesome.
ZAYLEX BALLANTYNE (Assistant Stage Manager) has been seen heading Hair & Makeup crew for Singin' in the Rain and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, student directing in the Helen, and acting in Begets as Inside Girl. He is also a member of the Color Guard, Charisma, and a Founding Member of the Kurt L Hawkins Writing Workshop. A huge thanks to Mom for sticking through all of the long nights, to Lockhart who pushed him to try directing and to Mabel and Morgan for being the best makeup leads he could ever hope for.
GEORGIA GOODVIN (Props Lead) has loved being part of CHS Theatre for the past three years, working on construction crew, serving as an ASM, and now leading as Props Crew Head. Outside of theatre, she plays tuba in the symphony band. Thanks to Mom and Dad for all the encouragement!
THALIA SVEC (Sound Lead) has worked on Hair crew during Singin' In the Rain and worked on Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Urinetown as a part of sound. Thanks to Mom and Dad for showing me the world of theater, and to Darby and Doug for keeping us in check and feeding us during long tech weeks.
