Last Wednesday evening the City High cafeteria was filled with members of Best Buddies to participate in the annual Best Buddies potluck.“I think the potluck went really great. We had about 120 people attend and we had a lot of people interview,” Molly Powell-Littler, president of Best Buddies said. “So hopefully we will see that kind of turnout continue throughout the year.”
The main reason for the Potluck was to bring students back to Best Buddies after the summer and to interview candidates who were applying to be a peer buddy.
“We had a lot of great interviews.” Powell-Littler said. “Basically we just asked a few questions about time commitments and other things and interests in best buddies, just to see what candidates we think would fit the buddies that we have.”
