On Monday, September 10th, the varsity boys golf team placed 4th behind Iowa City West in Round 1 of the MVC Divisional Meet. The team had a total score of 334, just six strokes behind the Trojans.
“I felt like today didn’t go very well.” Zach MacMillan ’14 said. “We didn’t have our game face on, we didn’t come in with a strong positive attitude that we should have.”
Nate Goddard ’13 led the team with a total score of 82. Other top scorers for the Little Hawks were Brady Swenning ’14 with 83 and Grant Simpson ’13 with 84. The boys will be competing next Monday at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City.
