Last week, The Little Hawk girls volleyball team participated in the state tournament. The girls made it to the 5A Championship match after beating West Des Moines Dowling in the quarterfinals, and top ranked Ankeny in the semi finals. They fell up just short to Bettendorf, losing 3-1, in the championship match.
“I’m very proud of our team.” Co-Captain Mickey Hansche ’13 said. “We fought through a lot of adversity this year, and I love every single person on this team.”
