Ellen Carman, Co-Executive Editor
Being a Co-Executive Editor of The Little Hawk means having the chance to work with the legendary Jacob ‘Jay-Z’ Potash. Jacob contributes monotone mumbles of maestroing mastery to daily meetings. He makes sure that the staff is constantly challenged by hiding from reporters, and refusing to use any kind of organizational system. Jacob often acts as the grandfather of our newspaper family. He can be found asleep in the back of his many AP classes. Jacob is like a sour patch kid, constantly making his staff work for the sweet taste of his approval. With Jacob’s influence I can reach that perfect state of insanity where true creativity and journalistic inspiration is fostered.
