A group of ten students silently protested discrimination and acts of hate at City High on Friday, November 18th. Earlier this week, a group of West High students organized a sit-in expressing the same sentiment.

Alicia Estrada '19 sits on the staircase following a silent march around the school in protest of discrimination.

Byron Ortiz '18 silently protests on Friday, November 18th. The tape over Ortiz's mouths reads "wall jumper." The aim of the protest, Ortiz said, was to stand in solidarity with those subjected to discrimination.

Anthony Foster '17 sits in solidarity with those who have experienced discrimination in the wake of the election. Foster, along with the other nine protesters, gathered during lunch to make signs for the protest held later that day.
