Mark Hanson gives final remarks on the senior class, receives standing applause.

Principal Mark Hanson won’t be returning to City High next year. Last night the school board voted unanimously to accept Hanson’s resignation after a 45 minute closed-door discussion. Over 20 students, parents, and community members spoke at the school board meeting in hopes of changing board member’s minds before the vote.
